Back in December of last year, I went ahead and bought Sony’s newest installment in the A7 Series - the Sony A7 IV with the kit lens. And let me tell you the Sony a7 IV is an absolute beast.
The primary reason I got the Sony a7 IV was to shoot Marcos' rugby games. I'm also one of the team photographers for Rock Rugby, so I need something to shoot fast action.
Also, the Sony A7 IV shoots some great video, but the game changer for me was that you can shoot 4:2:2 bit color. This is a big deal because this is what pro-level videographers use in the field.
I have joked that the camera takes better pictures than the photographer. It's that damn good.
