Like I Was Saying...
So Maryland isn’t just around the corner from Texas. It’s far. Damn far.
And our son is some fifteen hundred miles from home. Starting his journey with slugging out against the world.
Yes, it’s a little scary. I’m sitting here wondering if I’ve imparted all the wisdom he need to at least get started on his journey.
Even though he’s not here, I’m going to leave the light on.
Just in case, he needs to find his way home.
